As mentioned above we had some serious flooding this time last year that overwhelmed the pond drainage and left part of the land under about 30cm of water for a couple of days. Most of the flood water was run off from the soi across my land and into the klong at the rear. I decided back then to construct a drainage channel along the soi to the Klong at the south east of the property.

We started construction in July this year after getting approval from the village chief and support from the neighbours.

Admittedly we haven't had the kind of flooding as last year but all working well and draining quickly. BTW - the bougainvillea fence we planted three years ago, 30cm high.

Looks good and I gather your are re directing it (the water) down towards the village chief and neighbours. :lol:
