1/26/2007 13:22A Thai furniture makers favorite tool is a power nail driver. Nails are strong enough, but wood screws are much better. Next project I specify the use of wood screws throughout. One reason is if you want to change something, the thing can be disassembled.tcth (2 votes)

1/26/2007 11:01Rework is no fun. After the this piece was initially installed I decided I would be using this portion of surface to support an 800 kilogram fish tank. Out went the drawers and now we are installing 4" support posts. tcth (2 votes)

2/3/2007 17:42The front section. The main problem with this project was that the surface of the desk is not level. It isn't noticable to the human eye, and will be OK for the fish tank (which sits on foam), but the glass doesn't sit nicely on the surface.tcth (1 votes)

2/3/2007 17:43Section which supports the TV. I would give the furniture maker a B on this since the surface isn't level, but it looks nice. tcth (1 votes)
