Hi

I gather it is a marble on the walls in your bathroom photo.

Can I ask what is the name of that marble

It's actually a ceramic tile. Bought it at Boonthavorn. I don't recall the name right now.

Ok but it is a large ceramic. Its looks 60 x 100cm or thereabouts

60 x 100 is probably correct.

IMO, Marble for shower walls is often not a good idea, as marble is porous and it can leach salts that result in a "haze" on the surface. If you use natural stone in a bathroom, you need to be diligent about periodically resealing the surface. Rather than deal with that hassle, I went with the faux-marble tiles. I think it looks great.

More tile work, installing uPVC windows, and starting on the farang kitchen.

The kitchen cabinets, with their cement surrounds, were done by Boonthavorn. There is an absolutely awesome woman that works at Boonthavorn that does kitchen design. Its so funny to go there and see all of the other sales people standing around, and she is busy as hell. She also designed the built in cabinetry for us (see later).

We also did a thai kitchen(covered, screened in), right next to the western kitchen. You'll see that later too. The room for the Thai kitchen is in the first picture.

Here are some night shots. When I first spec'd the lighting, my wife thought I was nuts. Now she loves it, and will often, out of the blue, say "about your lights .... I was wrong".
