Sand wash pricing?

Postby Baht Man » Wed Aug 20, 2014 10:02 am

I need the overlay on an existing concrete patio.
Does anyone have a rough price, per SM as to the cost???

Thanks

I got some pricing on another site at 300 b/sm. But not a location of where or by who, so I passed it off.

Locally, the Ms. asked a guy putting it on at a house near mine and he wanted 450.

A friend of mine paid 400 two years ago.

My tile man gets 400 and I'm going with him.

Price also varies a bit by the stone selected as there are different prices there as well.

He delivered 40 bags at 25kg each bag and told me it takes one bag per sm.

I'm pleased with the stone color and have not seen it locally and actually there's more prep involved than I thought.

I'll post pics soon on my build blog.

Thanks and sorry if I was being a dick.

No worries, it's not uncommon on this (and most other) forum(s).

As far as I can recall I think the last person to use it and describe it here was Max in Chiang Mai in 2011.
