It was slightly overcast and 29 degrees this morning so it was perfect weather for Eddy and Patsy to renew their acquaintance with our local beach.
I also now have a car that doesn't mind sand off wet dogs so it was perfect. The moment they discovered the water it was in for a swim:

Tonight some beautiful bugs arrived and settled on these flowers. I haven't seen them before. Amazing Thailand:

After the early morning drive Eddy refuses to get out and sits watching me and waiting and hoping ..... and I sometimes give in:

My friend Bruce and his wife Gam needed a lift the other day and as he's allergic to dogs I had the car thoroughly cleaned. It took 10 people an hour.

On the Suzuki I'm having a car graphic made up for the roof. It will cost 2,500 Baht and will be done from this photo:

Last night just after dark I heard a strange call and there just outside my study window perched on top of one of the poles supporting the vine was an owl. I can't recall ever having seen one here before.

Eddy has been barking at a drain under the road since yesterday and I couldn't keep him away for long. Today I listened and heard a growl!
I got the camera and gingerly lowered it to take this photo:

I immediately blocked the hole as best I could although it will most probably come out the other side. I put the dogs in the car and drove around until they fell asleep.

Understatement. I think she's moved house because the dogs don't stop there anymore. Cobras eat mostly other snakes and rodents and tend to shy away from humans and animals.

It's called a vinyl wrap and they make the vinyl to fit the roof. You can have a glossy black like Mercedes or BMW or a Union Jack like on the roof of the Mini, etc. I might add Eddy's spot.

Not only do I have a double-storey staff house, but I also have double-storeyed sleeping accommodation for my dogs:

There's a lot of these around but I have no idea what it is. It's beautiful and has a bright blue tail:

This big tree at the bottom corner of the property is now home to hundreds of birds of varying species. They seem to like its fruit:

There are many birds around here and I occasionally have to chase people away who want dinner on the cheap.
The dogs hate this guy who happens to be a police helper and a bit of an idiot. He thought he could get away by wearing a mask, but was unmasked by Eddy, Patsy and Song:
