AIN'T LIFE GRAND?

Postby elgato » Fri Dec 16, 2011 10:09 pm

One of the wife's aunts needed to go to the "big city" for dental work yesterday so I volunteered to take her thinking I could do some shopping and stock up on cheese, etc. Lo and behold! Makro once again had sour cream and cottage cheese on the shelf! :D Naturally, I laid in a good supply @ 32bt ea. Later, at Tesco, I saw the same products for 37bt. I even remembered to buy a new bum gun. Now, ain't life grand? :D

John, sorry about your luck. It could be worse, you could be here complaining about the heat! About cooking for yourself - ever hear of take away? I wish I had some proper fish and chips. Got my water sorted at the farm for a song, now, Ain't Life Grand? :D

MIL and the rest of the household left for Phuket for a funeral so the restaurant is closed. I actually slept late today (7am) as there wasn't the usual banging around downstairs at 4:30am in the kitchen. Now, Ain't Life Grand?

Found tracks of a trespasser. Anybody know how to tell which direction this legless rascal was going?

If headed towards the forest I could honestly say Ain't Life Grand!

elgato,
Look at the peaks/mounds of sand/dirt/dust, they will all be on one side of the S the snake makes, these are caused by the snake's contractions....so looking at the photo he's heading away from where you took the photo. I know it's not really a good explanation, but you should be able to work it all out now.

MIL just returned from a funeral in Phuket, a 14 hour journey, and she had the presence of mind to insist on making a stop to get me a couple of cheeseburgers! Wow! Now I ask you - Ain't Life Grand? :D
