Ah, welcome back, I have missed your input :P

I think the "subtle difference" is that in recent incidents on this forum the irritation was caused by genuine insensitivity, not intentionally :roll:

Definitely no second thoughts and my optimism is back even if the Euro has not yet gone back up. Ouch.
Bangkok is sort of as it used to be except that the traffic seems to be much worse!
After a month or so off the streets everybody is out in force and today's public holiday made no difference to the traffic.
It looks like people have forgotten how to negotiate the streets and / or the traffic lights have not yet been put back to how they were.

Had a meeting with our proposed builder today. Explained our decision to delay things with him. He fully understood. Really nice bloke who you can talk to. He didn't mention it, but I'd be surprised if the estimate has not gone up when we eventually start.
