furniture - waterbed

Postby fredlk » Wed Dec 22, 2010 3:16 pm

I have a waterbed and have had since 1986. This is my 2nd. I've moved them successfully 5 or 6 times, but the first one was destroyed by a removal company in Amsterdam.
My last move in Bangkok went well and the next move will be my last and should also go well. I hope that the waterbed survives. If not, I will need a new one.

I once saw a waterbed-shop in Jomtien Complex, but they had no idea what they were selling. I think they went out of business.

Has anyone, anywhere seen a place selling waterbeds anywhere in Thailand? I would be grateful for addresses, phone numbers, anything.

Thanks.

That's the one that I visited and the one that went out of business .... or should have. I wrote them a couple of emails in the past and they never replied.

@fredlk

I plan to bring a water bed from Germany to Thailand.
However I wonder if there cold be a mold problem. The water bed temperature is about 28-30 degrees. Room temperature in Thailand can be easily more then 30 degrees (during the day without air con). Therefore condensation water could occur which generate mold in the long run. @fredlk can you please share you long time experience?
