Life was grand to me way back in the 50's when I read Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's The Hounds of the Baskerville's, borrowed from the local library, so please don't break your bank balance by buying the budget edition. Perhaps I should start a thread called "What will Santa bring me for Christmas"? But on second thoughts, all I'd get would probably be another pommie critic.

I know who Brian Johnson is as he was the winner of a Top Gear trophy for the fastest lap in a reasonably priced car (Jay Kay refused to accept it as he already had one and didn't warrant another expensive trophy), but who is Geordie?

Cane harvest is in full swing around our farm which "might" explain the lack of laborers and their high price when found.

First indication of courtesy by Thai drivers that I've experienced. Rough translation of the red flag on the back of the cane truck is "Caution, we apologize for going slow"
