Concrete formwork round stilts

Postby Vansana » Wed May 11, 2011 9:01 pm

Which methods are there to make a concrete formwork for round stilts? My construction people have no clue so far how to do.
I was thinking to take big blue waterpipes or maybe concret pipes.

Anybody got some ideas?

Have a nice day

Dead simple buy the concrete pipes the hard part is getting them over the rebar for the colums but the good news is the finish is usually very good and you leave them in situ after casting actually a good saving over making wooden shuttering in time and cost
my comments may be wrong but never deliberately

Take a look at building a new home and sauna in phonjalong gadgetman used round colums
And i think building a house khlong lahn trey has colums the same but with more discusion about linking blockwork to them

Just use the cement pipes...they come in a lot of diameters and lenghths...better you will not get it!

PVC pipes in such dimensions cost good money ;)!
