Moving to Sisaket in a year or two

Postby fredwiggy » Thu Oct 29, 2015 4:52 am

My wife is a Thai citizen. I'm doing the paperwork to bring her to the USA, then we will return in a year or two to build a house on her property. After I sell my house, I should have enough (in 2 years) to build a decent 3 bedroom,kitchen,2 baths and living room house with air con and water. I've been researching ideas and have seen a few house plans that I would maybe choose from that I like. I was wondering if other Americans lived in Sisaket province and if they knew any reliable contractors.

Welcome to CTH.

It seems to me you will have lots of time to research this and other building sites but unless you are planning to build in the immediate future trying to find a reliable contractor at this stage is in MHO premature. In two years things could change drastically.

When did you get married?

Married september 13th. I'm going back in december to look things over at the property. I would like to maybe taqlk to a builder to get his ideas on things. I know things could change in 2 years, but there's a chance it will be sooner
