Hi

Your opinions on Pro's and cons of converting this building into a house over building new

Building is 9 Years Old 30 x 15 m very solid Foundations but with pillars, all roof steel good condition would need re Tiling, Building is on 60 Rai so plenty of room to build elsewhere

What you think?

If the concrete is in good shape (no cracks or flaking) and it has the right dimensions, why not. Concrete gets stronger as it ages and the underlying soil has likely settled in those years. Just pour a new floor over the top after wetting it down well.

Also depends on what you would plan to re-tile with .... cow shed structures usually only have steelwork to barely carry what's on it at present.

Sixty Rai would also allow an extension without looking too crammed-in :P

I'd start with the cow-shed.. If anything, keep it simple and low cost.
You can always make it a guest house later and build a new house.
That way, you also get building experience and know your contractor's work before starting the 'real deal'.
Cheers,
