Hi guys, I jumped straight into the forum when I found it (reference on another site) without having the courtesy of introducing myself.
Originally English, I worked there for three years as a civil engineer (motorway construction mostly) before moving to Switzerland in 1972 where I soon discovered that the Swiss didn't accept my B.Sc. Came back from a kibbutz with a taste for landscape gardening, did a (grueling) apprenticeship and soon started a landscape gardening firm which was quite successful until divorce started to loom. During this time I also built two houses, one for the family + firm, one on speculation, I also did various large and small renovations, mostly up in the mountains. After divorce I worked three years as a life saver then three years in a botanical garden. A big mistake ever to inflict myself on any employer. Visiting Thailand regularly, first on holidays and then for longer periods, I decided to settle down In Buriram with the boss lady where we are currently finishing her house, plenty to do. Will be back in July 2012 for good this time.
