Hi I would be interested in knowing if someone has bought fill in the Udon Thani area (south side ) lately and if so how much for a six wheeler and or a 10 Wheeler truck, for reasonable quality fill material. I need about 450m3

Just paid 1000B per 10 wheel truck NW of Nakhon Sawan. This was for what I describe as what one would build a road bed with as I feel it would pack better and not run. From the pics GF sent me, looks like what I wanted.

Some pictures of our filldirt, after 7 months still no weed or bushes on the soil, very odd.

Looks very good fill, more loam than heavy clay

Looking good ...

What is the significance of the numbers on the trees?

We had 70 trees, all numbered, we told the guy what numbers he could cut, we also did it to make sure no one took our trees (happened before), as we counted them regularly :D

Rudi: The filling looks great. Did you build a seawall to the beach?
We have a high seawall on our land its normally 2-3 meter from the sea level. It was built by the government to prevent erosion, but sometimes the waves are so high that the water get over the wall and wash out some of the dirt near the wall. Not a big problem for us as we have a road between the beach side and the main plot where we have the house.

hste, the need of a seawall on our plot is crucial, already lost a lot of filling dirt!
