Been reading this, very interesting.
Have also been checking about the Nan sprinklers, including their webside.
But, what distance beetween the sprinklers ?
Guess it depends on water pressure, but company website only informs about amount of water.
Guess you people now have used them a couple of years ?
Do they still function ok :?:

Hi Olav

I have been using Naan sprinklers on my formal[ish] grass for four years years and never a problem ... as long as you check for ingress of creeping grass at the end of the rainy season ... which can foul the mechanism. They are fully adjustable for most distribution needs but the spacing can involve a bit of guess work unless you are the [unfortunately late] John Nash. I run mine directly from a 1HP well pump in zones [six at a time] and they provide good coverage over a twelve metre radius. It's best to site them something like six metres apart to ensure a reasonably consistent soaking. However ... that is with my well pump and at my distance from the pump, and with my pipe sizes. You didn't mention price but [based on Chiang Mai prices] they shouldn't be more than 700 Baht unless a one-off.

Hope that helps

Plan to make the irrigation system when we return Thailand in end october.
Have seen the information about the naan sprinklers that they cover circular diameter up to 20+ meters.
Please correct me if wrong: Then be ok to put them about 10 meters appart if have 2" pressure ?
But (unfortunately parts om my lawn is less than this, so is it possible to also adjust the water pressure on each sprinkler?
Also, as far as i understand its possible it is possible to adjust them to put water in both 360 or 180`degrees ?

A good idea to put a timer on the Electric supply for the pump.
Then system can work without you being present.
(or maybe just superwice from a secure distrance :-) )
