Hi JAFO, Cracking looking house mate love them internal doors, were they expensive?

Thanks for the kind words on the house.

Answering your question about the doors, I'd say there are 2 answers. If you were to do from scratch meaning procure wood(Very hard to find) to have doors fab'd, finished and stained then likely Yes they are expensive. The largest expense is the Teak. Our cost was very affordable as we had all the Teak from the house we tore down so it was labor to have them made. The wood craftsman and his wife near our place in Lampang did a fantastic job. They did all the teak doors, base board, trimming, railings, bannisters etc.

from where did you get the finishing on your stairs?
i am looking for something like that for outside the house, looks slippery free

It looks like a standard (pretty and well done) sand wash finish
