Hi,

Did you get your glass and aluminium window frames through 2 different Suppliers

Would you want to fit a window weighing 50kg, getting the frame perfectly plumb and level or a frame at about 10kg.
I know my preference

Depends on how good the carpenters are at their job

My window assemblies came as finished, (they weigh at least 50 kg) and my 3 Thai guys managed to install them without take the opening panes out. It took them about an hour for each Window but they wedged and clamped them into position

Same with the door assemblies with the fixed side panes (100 kg plus), but they were a struggle. They had no choice with these as the side panes (10 mm toughened) are fixed. I must admit it was a 3 Thai man & 2 Fat Expat man job, for the door assemblies (without the doors on)
