Hi Phil - Yes, we tiled the sunken bath/rain shower. I had left-over pool tiles, but decided the room looked better with the dark tiles throughout.

I see that you have a about a 50 mm step at your door threshold from Outside to Inside

Hi Martin,

Thank you for such a detailed thread about your build! Its great to see the progression, especially as I plan to build on what looks like a very similar plot also on koh phangan.

Can I ask, does your project manager have a website or are you happy to share their contact details ?

Many thanks

Jon

Thanks Marin, you may already know but coincidentally I ended chatting to him on skype today via another inquiry :)

I'm planning a trip over in August so will just miss you but if things work out at the time maybe I could have a look with Ian.

thanks again.

The bathroom tiling and fittings well underway...we are very pleased with the metal edging for the external corners.
Master bedroom bath...ready for the tempered glass walls on two sides.

High back wall ... 4.3 m

A bit of juggling with the recessed pocket sliding doors...nearly sorted. It has been fiddly, but is a feature throughout the house.

A lot happening for move-in on the...er...gulp...10th June. Certainly the P.M. is cracking the whip and getting a great deal of assistance from his team.
We are buying our new METOD Ikea kitchen which became available in Thailand yesterday - though I don't like the options as much as their now defunct FACTUM range. Nevertheless the new system should be island-bound next week, along with the recessed and pendulum lighting for the entire house.
Exciting times indeed.
If anyone is selling a 7' x 3' pool table suitable for converting to a dining table please let me know! (or even an 8' x 4').
Fascias and eaves done - Windsor gutters going on.

How about a ten foot black satellite dish?

Lazy Susan compatible.

You didn't specify that but I am sure you could arrange it ... as with everything else ... good job :)

Mind you ... if you are going to go to all the trouble of installing a slate bed then make it a 12' x 6' snooker table.
