The progress as seen when I arrived yesterday.

Opening for the toilet window shifted up. Was initially on the same height as the glass blocks.

Wiring all pulled but not fixed yet. Waiting for the actual electrician to come and hook it up to the breaker box.

Works on the gypsum boards for ceiling still in progress

External footpath around the house and steps leading up to front door done.

Bad incident on my flight back thou

Notice anything different in the 2 pics? Made to pay excess for nothing. Currently waiting for Airasia to reply me.

All the wiring looks to be the same color, I would be very carefull with this as it is easy to mix live and neutral and you could end up with live appliances if you are not carefull[*] I would also take a good look above the ceiling to see how the wiring has been done.

@pattayapope

Will be getting 2phase 220/15 as our permanent supply

2x2.5mm for outlets
2x1.5mm for light switches
1x1.5mm for neutral

Above ceiling wiring done without pipes nor junction boxes. Only tie binds.

They run the cables to a point, label both ends before moving on to the next.

Told by father in law to dig a 50cm depth trench / tunnel all the way to the front of the land. This was taken after 30min of digging. 1hr plus later, got punked by him. Told me to stop digging as its too slow to do the whole trench by hand. Will get my brother in law to do it using an excavator.

Erm.... I stopped looking at budget since end mid may after the columns were placed wrongly. Since then its just adjust as we go along.

Will do a breakdown when it's all completed again. But it's pretty safe to say I'm at 2x my original budget I guess

Makeshift smoking chamber for making charcoal so that they do not need to bother me on buying gas tank for cooking. (Their own initiative. Quite surprised by it)

Oh. That was taken when they just reached. Used the hand tool to smoothen the floor and it fit in nicely. Will update more photos again.

Been a year since I 1st started my build. Loads of ups and downs and now instead of looking to build, I'm looking to tear down.
Anyone with the right contacts to tear down a house for resale of individual parts eg roofing materials and so on OR just to fully demolish the whole place kindly point out the direction to me.

Hell load of drama over the last year and I will be damned if I'm just to walk away and let BiL take over everything for free.
