A Man of few words
Nice Floor plan, with many bedrooms, and a huge terrace in the back
If you don't mind, I would like to see what the finished house is supposed to look like ,it looks like an interesting design.
Please excuse my ignorance,I am trying to learn how to read house building plans in Thailand and I was wondering.
in the plan I see this symbol
Image
Does the .00 in the rectangular box in the walk way mean zero elevation,
and the +0.50 in the rectangular box in the kitchen mean .5 meter elevation?

and then the + 3.50 in bedroom # 5 mean the floor elevation to be 3.5 meters above elevation zero?

Thanks foe sharing, look forward to seeing more :D

Yes, I think so, on the pathway we are having a washing tub, then the base of house starts half a metre above ground.

exterior perspective (BMW is extra)

One question:
The lower roof has one side where the rain runs towards house wall of main building....

I never saw such construction made with purpose as it has a risk during heavy rain falls....
I do not say it is impossible to solve, but curious.

Do you have details about the gutter what sure need to be installed?

Very nice looking home
I cant tell from this angle, but it looks like The valey of the roof over the rear terrace terminates against the house.

If I am correct in that observation, you could have problems with moisture in that area, and/or leaves accumulating and impeding, the drainage of rain water. if that is correct, I would consider redesigning the roof of the terrace, or making sure that sufficient flashing is installed, and the area waterproofed.

In terms of waterproofing integrity, this might be a better roof resign

PS:While posting some one else beat me to the punch and made the same observation

No matter who posted first you have the best solution with the drawing.

Think not only that but IMHO looks better too.

Don't allow your self to be talked in to it. Unless you like this roof design soo much that you are willing to put up with the waterproofing challenges this design presents.
I have being in the construction industry for over 30 years, and believe me when I say, we would never design a roof this way unless, we did not have a choice.
As it is you have many choices, the sckech i made is only a crude 1 min attempt, if you like, you can have the same roof as is on your plan, only rotate it so that the flat side is now against the house, an other option would be a hip roof, or a modified hip roof to get the Thai look, or a roof like on my sketch only with a couple of dormers on the sides to dress it up,
with any of these designs you can have the roof wrap around the building a few feet (like the original roof, to provide some archtectural detail, and to picck up the lines of the front terrace.
If architectural design is not important to you, a flat slanted roof, would be inexpressive, easy to build, functional, and attractive.
Depending on where you are in Thailand and how strict they are with building codes, you might not have to make any changes to the plans, you could just build with the plans you have now , and just modify the design of the roof when you get to it,on the fly,
most places would not even notice.
Any way, food for thought :)

Joke (the builder) said he will be using lead flashing to form a 30cm deep gutter at the seam between the roof off the terrace and the wall of house.

Looks like you are making some good progress,
Went through a similar exercise my self recently, cleaning our property in preparation to start to build soon. Plastic shopping bags everywhere,I think they are quickly becoming the scourge of Thailand :(
nice size building lot, if you don't mind what are the lot dimensions?
