as I said earlier, not pouring the ground beams all in one shot is not all that bad. I would not be to worried much about that,
I was never a great fan of these precast columns, The Thais seem to be using them with good results in one story homes, but I am of the opinion that if you would be pouring ground beams and floor slabs, you might as well pour the columns your self also, It makes for a better integrated concrete system. and much stronger results.

Not a problem, with my limited info assumed it should be one pour. I had no idea it could be split into 2 pours.

another cheaper option more often used is blocks
my comments may be wrong but never deliberately
If it aint broke, dont fix it

cute face on the mutt looks to have jr in it if it need company i have several jr pups due end of june free to good homes happy they are not hitting you too hard on the basis you are a farrang I had some interesting arguments around BKK over that

brits who moved to OZ in the 40-60 ( I think, not sure of exact years) were paid 10 lbs..........my try at humor :)
