Ok, off in a different tangent........
The company "Lohr spray PU foam" google that and you will find a link.
Was comming the 5th Feb, but they had a big job in a village close so it was the 6th..no problem.
4 men show at 8 am and get work prepping the area....had some pump problems , fixxed and were done by about 3 pm........600 THB a sq M total 57,000 THB

I used them as well, and will use again 10 March for my second renovation. Very good service and they really commit to their warranty without any trouble.
As for the heat, make sure you vent the roof or there will still be a build up of heat.

Ok, back to the porch.....

even used rebar welded to floor rebar (took a bit of work, that)

The last pic, post before, shows the steel that the "smartwood" will be screwed to. Some info on the steel, the "uprights"(1X1 box) are welded to 4X4 1/4 inch thick plates that are screwed into the "porch" posts. The pieces that the "smartwood" screw into are 1X2 box .

While the rendering , Nu decides that the grey and black watertanks need to go in the ground. Only 1200 THB for the 2 men to dig the holes, and 1400 THB for 8 rings and 2 lids, at the same time 2 huge clumps of bamboo are removed. 3K THB.

When they were digging the holes, they went down deeper than they were tall.
I was kinda funny to see buckets of dirt flying out of the holes, but not see anyone there.

All the trimmings and dead bamboo is piled up where the clump was and burned to kill of the roots. At least that is the answer I got.

When I get back (mar 31 maybe) first project will be to get electric run to the house. Nu has already got the "House" book.

Then get a fridge, that will not be the " open season, anyone can take anything anytime" FRIDGE. It has not really been a big problem, there have been a few times that I bought milk, beer, fruit, etc.... Opened the door and that Item was gone. Seems to be NO concept of if you eat/drink the last of something, replace it.....at the very least, fooking say something.
Rant Mode Off......................

When I was in grade school(1-6), we had a grade/mark for "Respects property of others" This is not in the Thai culture at all.

What we do now, is put in fridge or pantry what is for everybody, and rest stashed.

I have a small 4 circuit box's for the ground floor, and wire. Still need to buy a couple more outlets, have light switchs (10), and a couple of 36" single tube lights. Down stairs will all be surface run , Thai style
Up stairs, I want cavity walls , at least in the master bedroom/onsuite that I will have aircon in. There we will run the wire in the walls.

Tile is also planned at least for the 6X6M2 that is now at lock up stage. Along with the bathroom. I have already bought the sink/bog/shower and mirror.
Exaust fan is already installed...
That is about it for now

Sorry Mak have no idea, prices seem much higher than they used to be round by me but we think locals charge to much anyway, we got a Makro yesterday for 6000 a day pc 60 size, all the locals wanted 8000 and the locals are literally 1km away, the guy who came was 10km away and did a good job of tidying up a few things for us.
Of course I do my own tiling
Id rely more on seeing another job from any tiler especially when it comes to any cuts than price these days as the headaches of a crap job outweigh the price issue for me now
