I haven't used them but I think the main problem is the window is either closed or fully open, there is no provision to partial opening unless you are happy with the "push-rod" sticking out into the room which I can see as being a nuisance.

We've had them in the original house for 7 years with no problems. Seem to be durable.

Thanks Dozer, now I remember where I saw the picture. I like the idea; solves the awkwardness of opening screens & reaching through security bars to deal with the window. I haven`t seen them at Global House & from the video it looks like they have their own installation people; did they install yours?

Had them is a guest house we were in. Seemed to be stainless steel and worked well.

Bill dose,nt everybody have security bars on the mum in law house we recycled some of the windows and the security bars were refitted after everything was painted
The joke is the new windows at the front, aluminium sliders, have no bars nor does the new double glass door they were deemed not to need them as the locks were good??
my comments may be wrong but never deliberately

You could try the red box approach.

It seems to be working for Thai Fly and Max.

Know what you mean about bars on windows and if possible we will past, Fortunately my wife is a dog lover and My Rottweiler is lonely.
