Pregnancy in Thailand

Postby vanda » Sat Jun 21, 2014 7:36 pm

Hey guys, as some of you may know my partner is pregnant and is close to the due date. We've been discussing the hospital side of things and where she will be going etc. as well as the birth. She has told me that hospitals don't even allow the father to be in the room for the birth and have to wait until the ordeal is over, like the rest of the family. Can anyone offer some insight to this as I find this incredibly ridiculous, since I want to be there to see my son being born.

Vanda,
Why don't you give Bumrungrad Hospital a call on 026671000 the switchboard is manned 24 hours a day and they'll be able to give you an instant reply. The Medical Director there is an Aussie Dr. Peter Morely so I'm sure you'll be allowed in.
