Pool Contractor

Postby fdimike » Mon Nov 28, 2005 9:39 pm

Peter can you provide me the name and phone number of your pool contractor please. I am going to build a pool here in Udon Thani and would like to do a little comparison shopping.

Ahem......cruzing, I think you'll find your talking to a bot. It's on here to advertise the online casino. It generates vague random phrases. Dozer should squish the bug. :D

Hey teletiger,
Thanks for the heads up. I figured something was strange, but figured him for a troll. did see the online casino at the bottom and wondered about it. Guess I'm just not aware of ALL the deviante ways people out there use the computer.

Thanks again, was starting to bug me that this newby just registered and had all this demented remarks to make.

This thread is well over 1 year old

This thread seems to have died out. Either you all finished your pools already and it all went without a hitch, or you just gave up on the idea

The http://www.buildingyourownpool.com site has been got at by a hacker and is not responding.

The questions going round at the moment are about in-ground concrete pools, and concern shuttering (formwork), rebar (reinforcing steel), and concrete thickness. The general consensus is that C20P concrete is the best mix (low slump), and if a vibrator is to hand, to use it.

If you have anything new to add, it may be a big help because apart from myself (and although I have built a couple of pools before, any new tips and tricks are welcome) I know of at least three other farangs in the Udon area who are contemplating building pools, or who have already dug a hole and don't know what to do next.
