Cost of building a single storey house

Postby motorhomes4sale » Tue Oct 04, 2005 9:46 pm

Can anyone tell me an approximate price a builder would charge to build a single storey 150 square metre house of fairly simple design with a hard tiled roof. Probably 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom.
Price not to include kitchen and bathroom fittings, so basically a shell with interior walls / tilled out and fitted with electrics and plumbing to bathroom and kitchen.

I am wanting to buy land and build in Udon Thani, would this be cheaper ?
My wife is from Sakhon Nakhon so Udon will be a good location for us.

We spend about 75.000 baht for 1100 m2 of land, and about 750.000 baht for a simple designed home, including materials.
Builder contract was 125.000 baht

See this topic for pictures and details.
