Feedback from Mossman Building in England

feedback from mossman

I look forward to reading your new site about building a house in Thailand. I have always admired traditional Thai and SE Asian architecture. I can only look on enviously as I am building in N. England cottage & shingle style(in a “Mc-Mansion” era), and it is hard to incorperate any Thai elements.

Btw: in “Perimeters”, it should say – First the column reinforcement bars(rebars) are set in a concrete footing, then the columns are poured using a concrete form, then the spaces in between the columns are filled in with mortared brick, which is then stuccoed. I watched entire houses built like this in Samui; saves alot of expensive tropical hardwood.

Thanks for the comments. Good luck on your project in N. England.
